On the 14 November 2012(Wednesday),the Red Crescent Youth Unit 6(SMK Green Road) visited the Batu Lintang Fire Station.They are accompanied with Red Crescent Youth Unit 5(Chung Hua Middle School No 1) ,Red Crescent Youth Unit 7(SMK Kuching Town),Red Crescent of SJK 4 1/2 Mile and the St John's Ambulance of Divison 6(SMK Green Road).There were approximately 95 members joining the visit accompanied by 5 teachers in-charged.The event started from 8:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.Members are distributed into 2 groups,Group 1 and Group 2.The schedule for the visit is stated below:
8:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. :Briefing, introducing members and groups distributing.
GROUP 1
9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. : Talks on the Rules & Regulations of Fire Station.(Akta 341)
11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Lunch
12:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. : Introducing hoses, carrying hoses,techniques to escape from a fire from a class
2:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. : Introducing fire trucks and photos taking
3:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. : Walking techniques in the dark and ways to save casualties from the fire
3:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. : Ways to extinguish fire
4:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. : Prizes giving and group photos taking
GROUP 2
9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. : Introducing hoses, carrying hoses,techniques to escape from a fire from a class
11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Lunch
12:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. : Talks on the Rules & Regulations of Fire Station.(Akta 341)
2:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. : Introducing fire trucks and photos taking
3:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. : Walking techniques in the dark and ways to save casualties from the fire
